These shoes are adorable. However, the length is a little short. My size is an 8, but when an 8-1/2 was recommended that’s what I ordered. Nevertheless, my toes are just at the end. Since these are so cute and I’m afraid to order the next size up, I’m going to keep them.

I’m usually a 7, at times a 7.5, I ordered a 7.5-8 in this shoe and my toes are touching the end of the shoe. I can’t believe how far off the sizing is for me! For someone that usually wears a 7 to go all the way up to an 8.5? ( which is the next size sold) They re a very cute shoe and I would love to keep them, but sadly I think they need to go back. I dislike it when I keep a shoe but always hesitate to wear it bc I’m worried about comfort throughout the day.

I have just discovered Spring Step shoes and I’m glad I did! They are comfortable, and made of leather and lined with leather. I have purchased other models from other vendors, but Zappos had the color I wanted in the Berna. I thought it would be a good fit as there is an elastic drawstring around the upper front of shoe. Unfortunately they fit very wide. In fact, the right shoe was even wider than the left. And the drawstring did not help at all.
I will let interested buyers know that the Spring Step Ingrid fits very wide too. And the Newday and the Brandel fit more narrowly. I usually wear a U.S. 7, with a narrow-medium width foot. And in those two models, a 37 fit me very well for length and width.

These shoes are much cuter than the photo shows. However, Spring Step sizing is not a good fit for me. I usually wear a size 10 in dress and casual shoes. I ordered the 9.5-10. They were too short. Width seemed fine. Zappos was out of stock on the 10.5-11. I had to return the shoes I got from Zappos for a refund. I ordered the 10.5-11 directly from Spring Step and they are a little bit too big. I am going to keep them since they are wearable, just a little looser than I prefer. The leather of Spring Step shoes is so supple and comfortable even if you have bunions.

Such an interesting and cute shoe! I ordered a 42 which can be too big in some brands like Birkenstock but typically fits in Spring Step. Unfortunately I found the shoe to be a bit narrow and about ½ size too small with a footbed that was not comfortable. Returning.
