They are pretty comfortable from the first time I wore them. When you slide your foot in (with a sock on) it is not a smooth slide – the sock sticks a bit, but then it adjusts and even helps keep your foot from sliding. I have not tried them without a sock yet but I will when the weather gets warmer. I would highly recommend.

Love the shoes EXCEPT the quality is not what I expect fr Zappos. Stitching is sloppy. At the end of 2 straps, the stitching arrived pulled out of the tips of the straps. On one strap, about 5 stitches are out. Where the upper leather meets the sole, it is very sloppy at one area more than an inch long. I do not know how to upload photos or I would send some of these flaws. I don’t want to send the shoes back but can’t decide.

I have wide/curved feet so I have a hard time finding shoes that fit. Spring Step so far has never let me down in their quality and consistency in sizing. Because it’s leather, they do tend to stretch out a bit, but still fit pretty good after several months of consistent wear. This shoe was comfy and had plenty of cushion.

What a thrill to receive these wonderful shoes overnight. I continue to get lots of compliments when I wear them, which has become all the time due to the comfort they provide. The price was a lot less than my friend\’s shoes that are very similar and not nearly as good a quality. These shoes are a definite winner as is Zappos.

Really cute and casual, quality leather and well made. Very comfortable. Because of removable insole I had to reorder a half size larger because I like to wear socks. Super fast service as always.

These are the most comfortable shoes ever and I have tried a lot of shoes. I have chronic pain in my feet and a fused great toe where the toenail rubs on the toe box of most shoes but not Spring Step Happy. They have also been the best priced shoe with excellent comfort, highly recommend this shoe.

I ordered these shoes and I also have real difficulty with my big toe. They are incredibly comfortable, but I do better with a closed shoe. I also think they run a tad shorter than my other 38’s.
I must say that the Bordeaux color is a true bordeaux. A wine color, exactly as I expected.

I now know why Zappos is called Zappos. It is like magic. You can be ordering a pair of shoes late one night and zap! The next afternoon they can be actually on your doorstep. They totally amaze me as I will continue to shop with Zappos. They may not always have the best price, but i guarantee hands down there is no one anywhere that offers the Customer Service they do. The Happy shoe is comfortable, but does run a little short. It is very snazzy, stylish patent leather shoe with adjustable straps on top. My particular pair was defective and had to go back. However, my exchange happened in a matter of 24 hours. Imagine that?!! Zappos to the rescue. As always, thank you Zappos!

This is the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn! I’m a 5’0″ working gal, on my feet much of the day & recently had a sesamoid bone in my foot removed. I usually prefer a slightly higher heel, however due to the surgery and recovering, I will stick to a low 1″ lift. This shoe is one of several I’ve tried post-surgery. I love it and would have worn it regardless. Absolutely true to size, comfortable, and very stylish with suits. I ordered the patent leather and adore it…it does scratch easily (as will any patent leather), but I preferred the ‘gloss’ with this style over the other options.

I am excited to report that this is a comfy and attractive clog…a difficult thing to accomplish. I wanted to wear something in winter that is not sneaker or boot. I wanted something very comfy. I have had trouble finding a good looking clog. The bordeaux color is strong but subtle, and the styling is great with pants. I don’t dare wear clogs open for all viewing, just like seeing the front peep out of pant legs. It is really comfortable, not sweaty after awhile. I usually wear a size 8 and found I needed to exchange it for an 8.5.

I bought these for a new job that involves standing on my feet for long periods of time. I usually wear Dansko clogs for this, but I have found over time that the soles are just too hard, and my feet feel sore. These clogs are very soft on the inside, could even be worn without socks or hose, and are very lightweight.

Very comfortable, good looks and reasonable price, what more could you wish for? For me they ran a size short (European sizes). So I had to exchange them for a size up and Zappos was very quick to do so, thanks. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a better looking, stand all day on your feet shoe.

I like these shoes a lot, however they do run a bit small. I can’t wear heavy socks with them. I also found the lining was not slippery so the clogs can be tough to get into. Otherwise they are comfortable and I like how they look.

I ordered the Spring Step Happy shoe in size 38 and 39 in black. (Normally, I wear size 38.) The size 38 shoe was a little snug in length, but the next size (39) was too long and loose. I kept the size 38 and have been wearing them for about two weeks. The footbed is soft with moderate arch support; I’m very happy with the fit and quality of this shoe. I would definitely consider this brand again.

This shoe has a level of comfort and sizing is correct, BUT…………, terribly lacking in quality. They are made in China. The soles of the shoe and sides of soles have a very very think paint on them that easily peels off and flakes off. When it does, it is revealed that one of the shoes soles is white material and the other is black. TWO DIFFERENT colors of rubber for the soles. Also, the velco that holes the removable footpad is not glued well and easily comes loose right away, in addition, the label on the back of the shoe falls off in no time. It is so dissapointing as the style of the shoe is very nice, and the comfort level of the shoe is nice. This company needs to greatly improve the quaility of this shoe. Very frustrating all around experience.

Its a little difficult to say the shoe is true to size when the sizing uses a range. I ordered the range of my show size but obviously the foot was on the higher side of the range because it didn’t fit. The bottom line is the show fits like the smaller size of the range if your foot is wider or have a high arch. I went thru the hassle of sending the shoe back for a larger size and am glad I did. I like the style, its comfortable. I am concerned with the materials causing the foot to sweat. Time will tell. .

I purchased these in both brown and black for a trip to France and found them to be perfect for my Achilles tendonitis. The fit was good and I walked several miles a day (Louvre and Versailles) without pain in my heel.

These may be the most comfortable shoes I’ve owned inn years. My only criticism is you need a shoe horn to put them on. I love the color and the way they look. Buy a pair; they run true to size.
