They are a little snug but my feet are a little wide. The heel height is great, they are comfie to walk in. I’m not sure I like the faux fur lining, like will they get too warm…. so I ordered the Dealey and Damarys boots directly from Spring Step to compare.

Very bummed about sending these back. The 39s were way too narrow and in the 40s my feet feel like they are in the wrong part of the shoe/very awkward. These would have been so nice for bad winter weather, with the fuzzy lining.

Honestly, I did not think any of the boots I ordered would fit. I’d tried so many and this was my last effort. These boots are stylish, well made and comfortable. They do have a bit of a heel but they are still comfortable. I love that the toe box is big. I would guess that if you have narrow feet these will not work for you. However, they are perfect for me! I even have a tricky bunion-y area on my left foot and it is not aggravated by these boots. I am so surprised that they are so nice and fit so well. I tried similar looking boots by Taos. So stiff, rigid and uncomfortable and quite pricey.
I’m replacing pairs of similar looking Dansko lace up ankle boots that I have not worn for years. When I tried them on to compare, I was shocked at how uncomfortable they were!

I’ve been wearing these for about two weeks now, they’re my favorite pair of boots. I purchased them because I was moving to Minneapolis. They were comfortable immediately out of the box. The color is gorgeous and they have some height without sacrificing any comfort. Absolutely loving them and am now looking at getting more shoes from this brand. Worth the money, and I’m usually pretty frugal! The two side zippers (on the inner part of the foot and the outer) not only look cute, they’re really convenient! Very pleased with this purchase!!!

I was hesitant to purchase these boots but I have been eyeballing them for a while and decided to take a chance. They only had a size up from what I usually order and with thick socks they still feel good. I love spring step boots!

These are so cute and I was hoping they would fit but they were quite rigid and uncomfortable. I pretty much took them off the moment I put them on because I knew they wouldn’t work. I walked a few feet and took them off before even realizing whether or not they had good arch support. Pretty sure they didn’t because if they did I would notice that right away

Regularly a medium 10. Purchased the 10.5-11 in black and mahogany to wear with thick socks. This shoe has a roomy toe box, incredibly comfortable fit, and the (chunky) heel gives height. I feel surefooted in this pair.

I liked the style, they seemed very comfortable, but these most definitely are not red IRL. In some light, maybe, but these are predominantly brown and that’s why I am returning them. I just won’t get enough wear of a boot like this in brown.

I found the boots to be very uncomfortable. I smelled a chemical scent as soon as I opened the box. I love the smell of leather, and this was not even close. I ordered 2 sizes and they both smelled the same.

These boots are so cute. For me they ran small. I am a 38 in Dansko and other brands and in these the 39 fit better. I like the two zipper option with the laces as there are many ways to adjust the ankle width. I did not find them to have much arch support or cushioning compared with Dansko or Vionic, but if you add an insole they will be great! More comfortable then my Frye Sabrina 6g

First of all, these shoes are BEAUTIFUL. Gorgeous teal/dark green leather, pretty silver zippers, etc. But I am a size 7.5 and a 7.5/8 was TOO TIGHT. Also, everything about these felt painful – like no give in the footbed the “spring step” felt like hard rubber.

I was surprised at how fabulously these fit. I have wide feet, and high arches. True to my experience with Spring Step, I was able to wear these out of the box for 2 days without discomfort. The leather appears durable and is, but it is slightly soft, and pliable. The heel is great for my arch and not as high as it appears with the platform boost. The platform is stable and doesn’t feel risky for ankle rolling. The laces begin low enough that i can accommodate my width in just the right place by loosening the laces. The rounded toes also allow for a little wiggle rol. Which I always appreciate. The zippers for quick on and off without loosening and tightening the laces. This time of year the liner is great, however they may be a little warm for summer months. Besides all of this they are gorgeous – stylish and practical -my favorite combo. Fashion meets function. ???? I highly recommend these.

I was looking for a boot with a moderate heel that I could wear with jeans, skirt, dress, etc to go out in the winter. This one has a slightly wider toe/foot bed and feels very comfortable right out of the box. And it is cute!

Gorgeous color, soft fur lining which feels amazing, very comfortable. I’m usually a 8.5-9, EU size 39-40, and the 9’s fit perfectly with room for a sock.

Purchased Dark Green Sz 39 that fit very good. Style was great.
Unfortunately SpringStep missed the mark with the black burnished look. There was what appeared to be black splattered stain on one shoe, the other had threads sticking out at the seam that holds the top to the bottom. There was a cut/scratch on the same side where the threads were sticking out of the seam. At the 3rd eyelet threads were sticking out. Sent back for refund the next day. Did not think to take pictures. I called Zappos immediately.

Love the boots, fit great but the tongue on the right side has a bump that sticks into the top of my foot so that I can not wear them for long. They also came with a strong odor of mildew. I put them in a far away area of my house to air them out for 6 months and they still have a bit of a mildew odor.

These felt really narrow and not the usual Spring Step quality. The leather was really stiff so I returned the shoes.
